Mission
Connect people with a practical path forward.
CMCVS connects veterans, service members, and military families with the resources, advocacy, assistance, and community support they need to build stable and successful lives.
About CMCVS
California Military Charity and Veterans Services is a veteran-focused California nonprofit created to improve how veterans, service members, and military families find and access assistance.
Mission
CMCVS connects veterans, service members, and military families with the resources, advocacy, assistance, and community support they need to build stable and successful lives.
Vision
We envision a California where veterans and military families can understand their options, reach qualified help, and move between systems without being left to navigate alone.
Status
CMCVS is an IRS-recognized nonprofit. Its EIN and supporting public documents will appear after the organization approves them for website publication.
Our story
A veteran seeking help may have to move between federal benefits, California programs, county services, nonprofits, healthcare providers, employers, housing organizations, and charities. Each organization has its own purpose, rules, geography, and capacity. CMCVS is being built to improve that journey through education, navigation, referrals, advocacy, partnerships, and direct charitable programs as capacity grows.
Responsible representation
CMCVS publishes credentials, relationships, grants, outcomes, and organizational records only after they are documented and approved. Claims assistance that requires VA accreditation should be handled by an accredited representative.
Values
Put the needs and dignity of veterans, service members, and families at the center of the work.
Communicate honestly about capabilities, eligibility, limitations, and outcomes.
Use resources responsibly and publish verified information as reporting matures.
Recognize each person's service, circumstances, choices, privacy, and lived experience.
Build practical connections across public agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors.
Work toward systems that are easier to understand, reach, and navigate.
Leadership & governance
These sections are prepared for verified profiles and approved governance documents as CMCVS formalizes its public reporting.
Profiles will be published after board information is approved for the website.
Staff and officer biographies will appear only after they are verified and authorized.
Future advisors will be listed after appointment and consent to publication.
Built to grow
The current public site keeps future systems separate from live claims. These capabilities are architectural next steps, not services represented as active today.
